Together with an account of their other sufferings, by imprisonments, plunderings, &c." This second part has new pagination and register.
the work iudes a list of subscribers. (DES) The title of the work is enclosed within a plain rule-border. The main body of the text is printed in double columns. There are printed marginalia. The work includes indexes. (BND) Bound in brown leather over boards. There is a slim panel within a larger panel, the leather here being of a lighter brown. The panels are marked out with both double fillets and rolls. There are fleurons at each corner of the larger panel, and double fillets round the rims of both boards. There six raised bands on the spine, with two black horizontal lines above and below each band. The exception is the space between the first and second bands where there is a square of red leather on which the author's name, and the book title, in gold lettering are stamped. (PHY) The leather at the join of the upper board and the spine is cracked from top to bottom, and the upper board is detached from the text block. The edges of the boards are badly worn, but there is no delaminating as yet. The surface of the leather of the upper board has been scraped in one or two places. The leather of the boards has been patched in three small areas. (OWN) There is a 'Wells Theological College 1840' bookplate on the pastedown of the upper board. At the top right hand corner of the first flyleaf there is a handwritten note, 'J. E, the gift of Mr. Jon. Clark.' (REF) ESTC citation number T145152
